Anguillara Sabazia is the prettiest village on Lake Bracciano — a medieval cluster of houses tumbling down to the waterfront, with a 15th-century clock tower and views across the volcanic lake. The sunset here, with the Bracciano castle visible across the water, is worth the 40-minute train ride from Rome.
