1,500 trulli — cone-roofed stone houses that exist nowhere else on Earth. The Rione Monti district is UNESCO-protected, walking through its alleys of white cones is genuinely surreal.

Car if possible — Alberobello is just one stop in the trulli region. FSE train works for Alberobello alone.
