Shoes: The Marche region (near Fermo/Macerata) is Italy's shoe manufacturing heartland — Tod's, Hogan, and hundreds of smaller makers. Factory outlets in the region. Naples: Custom-made shirts (Marinella, since 1914 — €150-300) and custom shoes (Tramontano — handmade bags and belts since 1865).
