Italy doesn't do bachelor parties the way Vegas does. There are no bottle-service megaclubs, no fluorescent shot bars, no matching "bride tribe" t-shirts (actually, please don't). What Italy does: aperitivo crawls through Trastevere that start at 7pm and end at 3am with 8 new friends you met at a bacaro. Wine tastings in Val d'Orcia that devolve into Brunello-fueled karaoke at the agriturismo. Beach villa weekends in Puglia where the pool, the DJ, and the food are all world-class and the total cost split 8 ways is less than one night in Ibiza. Italy makes you feel like the main character without the hangover regret. (Mostly.)
Plan my party โRome โ the classic stag/hen weekend. Friday: arrive, aperitivo in Monti, dinner in Trastevere, bar crawl ending at Salotto42 or Freni e Frizioni. Saturday: Colosseum gladiator experience (dress the groom/bride as Caesar, โฌ40/person via GYG), pasta-making class (competitive, hilarious, โฌ60/person), then Testaccio clubs (Goa, Akab) until dawn. Sunday: recover over brunch at Roscioli. Full Rome 3 days โ
Amalfi Coast โ the luxury hen party. Rent a villa in Ravello or Praiano (from โฌ300/night, split 6-8 ways = โฌ40/person/night). Day 1: private boat to Capri with prosecco (โฌ500/group). Day 2: Positano beach + shopping + sunset cocktails at Le Sirenuse terrace. Day 3: spa day at a Ravello hotel.
Puglia โ the villa party. Rent a masseria with pool near Lecce or Ostuni (from โฌ200/night for 10+ people). Private chef for dinner (โฌ40/person including wine). Day: Gallipoli beach clubs. Night: Lecce piazza aperitivo crawl. The tan lines are the souvenir.
Milan โ the fashion/club weekend. Aperitivo on Navigli, dinner in Brera, clubs on Corso Como (Hollywood, Just Cavalli). Milan's club scene requires effort (door selection, smart dress) but delivers.
