Monti is Rome's former red-light district turned coolest neighborhood. Vintage shops, artisan boutiques, natural wine bars, and a Sunday market in Via Leonina that is actually good (unlike most Roman markets). The aperitivo scene on Via Panisperna and around Piazza della Madonna dei Monti on warm evenings is peak Roman living.
