Cefalù (beach + beauty): The postcard town — Norman cathedral, sandy beach, the Rocca cliff above. Price: €60-150/night. Character: Beautiful, relaxed, family-friendly. Best for: Families, beach+culture combo, photographers. Trapani (the western tip): Salt pans, Erice hilltop above, ferry to Egadi Islands (Favignana), Marsala nearby.
