Free thermal experiences: Sorgeto Bay (Panza) — thermal springs emerge directly on the beach, creating natural hot pools mixing with the sea. Free, 24/7, accessed via 200 steps down a cliff path. At night, soaking in hot volcanic water under stars with the sea lapping at your feet, is one of Italy's most unforgettable free experiences. Fumaroles on Maronti Beach — dig into the sand and it's hot enough to cook an egg.
Getting there: Ferry from Naples Molo Beverello (1h hydrofoil, €20-25; 1.5h ferry, €12-15). Ferries every 30-60min in summer. Stay: Forio (€70-150/night — best thermal park access), Ischia Porto (€60-130 — most restaurants and nightlife), Sant'Angelo (€80-180 — the prettiest village, car-free).
